Vegan Soysage Recipe Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cup: Soy pulp, (from making soymilk) or cooked cracked soybeans
2 cup: Whole wheat flour,
1 cup: Wheat germ,
3/4 cup: Oil,
1 1/4 cup: Soymilk, or other liquid
1 cup: Nutritional yeast flakes,
1 1/2 tsp: Fennel seed,
1 tsp: Black pepper,
1/4 cup: Soy sauce,
3 tsp: Oregano,
2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Cayenne,
2 tbsp: Brown sugar,
2 tbsp: Garlic powder,
2 tbsp: Wet mustard,
2 tsp: Allspice,

Directions:
Mix ingredients together. Oil oven-proof bowl or empty tin can. Fill
it & cover with foil. Steam on rack for 1 1/2 hours, or pressure cook
in 5 cups water for 30 minutes. Let cool, then slice and fry.

Here, in Louisiana, we like things spicy, so I add a little more
cayenne and mustard and some finely chopped onion and garlic to boot.
