Walnut Cottage Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:
1/4 cup: Butter,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1: Egg, well beaten
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1 cup: Milk,
2 cup: Flour,
3 tsp: Baking-powder,
1/2 cup: Chopped nuts,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,

Directions:
Cream butter with sugar. Add egg. Beat thoroughly. Sift flour,
measure, and sift with baking-powder and salt. Add alternately with
milk to first mixture. Add nuts and flavoring. Mix thoroughly. Pour
into shallow, well-oiled baking pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F)
30 minutes. Serve with vanilla or hard sauce.
6 servings.
