Walnut Penuche Drops Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup: Granulated sugar,
1/4 cup: Light corn syrup,
1/2 cup: Light cream,
1 tbsp: Butter,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
1 1/2 cup: Coarsely chopped walnuts,
Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan. Cook, stirring,
until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in
cold water (238-F). (This takes 25 to 30 minutes.) Remove from heat;
add butter and vanilla. Beat until blended; add walnuts, and stir
until coated. Drop quickly by dessert-spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
