Milk Chocolate Whipped Cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large: Hersheys milk chocolate ca,
1/2 cup: Heavy cream,
2 tbsp: Confectioners sugar,

Break up bar of milk chocolate and melt in double boiler.
Remove from heat and stir in confectioners sugar. Let cool
to luke-warm and fold into whipped cream. Makes 1 cup
In 1940 they sold a 5-cent, 10-cent and large size bar
of Milk chocolate. The baking chocolate came in the
same bar as today along with a pantry box, which was
8 1-oz blocks scored in halfs permiting for breaking
into 1/2 oz. Does anyone know how many ounces
the large bar was at this time, for this recipe ?
