Buds Corn Dogs Recipe

Yield: 10 servings
Recipe by luhu.jp

Ingredients:
1 cup: Flour,
1 1/2 cup: Corn meal,
1 tsp: Baking powder,
2 1/4 cup: Milk,
1/2 tbsp: Sugar,
Dash of salt,
2 tbsp: Louisiana Hot Sauce,
1 package: Hot Dogs (or for a real heart-stopper, polish sausage, Hy-Grades makes a "hot" variety that will "kick butt & take down names!")

Directions:
Combine all ingredients to form a batter. If too thick add a little
more milk. Dip hot dogs in batter and drop them into hot oil. Fry
to golden brown.

This was based on a recipe in out family cookbook with this added to
it:

These are like the corn dogs sold at county fairs. The "Cozy Dog"
drive in is a landmark in Springfield, Illinois. They specialize in
these, and it is sometimes rumored that Uncle Bob knew the owner and
got his recipe.

I added the hot sauce and readjusted some quantities.

Serve with mustard.

See you in the coronary care ward.. Ive got my heart monitor already
reserved!
