Sweet And Sour Sauce Chinese Style Recipe

Ingredients:
1 centiliter: Garlic, crushed or finely
1 1/2 tbsp: Soy sauce,
-chopped,
2 tsp: Tomato paste or ketchup,
1 each: Onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp: Sherry wine,
1 tbsp: Oil,
1 1/2 tbsp: Cornstarch,
6 tbsp: Chicken stock,
Salt,
1 1/2 tbsp: Wine vinegar,
Freshly ground black pepper,
1 1/2 tbsp: Sugar,
1 tsp: Chinese chili sauce, optl
Directions:
Fry the garlic in the oil until soft but not colored. Add the
stock and the next five ingredients. Blend the cornstarch to a paste
with 1/4 cup water and stir in. Cook for 1 minute. Taste and season,
adding the chili sauce if wished.
