German Coffee Cake^ Recipe

Ingredients:
3/8 cup: Milk,
2 tbsp: Sugar,
1 1/2 tbsp: Fat,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 tsp: Yeast,
2 tbsp: Warm water,
1 small: Egg, beaten
1 3/4 cup: Flour,
Melted butter,
Streusel crumbs,
Directions:
Scald milk; pour over sugar, fat and salt in a bowl, cool. Soften
yeast in warm water, add the egg and mix. Add to milk mixture. Add
almost half the flour and beat well. Mix in rest of flour. Roll out
1/2" thick and place in a well greased pan. Let rise until double.
Prick top with fork; brush with melted butter. Put streusel crumbs on
top. Let rise for half an hour; bake at 400 degrees for about 20
minutes.
