Home Made Chicken Gravy Base And Recipe Recipe

Ingredients:

CHICKEN GRAVY MIX
1 1/3 cup: Dry milk powder,
3/4 cup: All purpose flour,
3 tbsp: Chicken bouillon granules,
1/4 tsp: Ground sage,
1/2 cup: Butter or margarine,
1/8 tsp: Yellow food color,

GRAVY
1 cup: Cold water,
1/2 cup: Chicken gravy mix,

Directions:
MIX Combine milk powder, flour, chicken bouillon and sage, cut in
margarine and food coloring until pieces resemble cornmeal. Store in
tightly covered container in the refrigerator up to 2 months. Makes
about 3 cups mix.

GRAVY In saucepan blend cold water into gravy base mix. Cook and stir
until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook 1 minute more. Makes 1
cup gravy.
