Open-face Monterey Jack Melt - Bon Appetit Recipe

Ingredients:
4 Slices: whole grain bread, lightly toasted
4 tbsp: Bottled Thousand Island dressing,
1 small: Red onion, thinly sliced
6 ounce: Sliced smoked turkey breast,
1: Avocado, peeled, thinly sliced
1 cup: Grated hot pepper Monterey Jack cheese, about 3 oz
1 cup: , (generous) alfalfa sprouts
Directions:
Preheat broiler. Place bread on baking sheet. Spread 1 T Thousand
Island dressing on each slice of bread. Top with onion slices, turkey
and avocado. Sprinkle sandwiches with cheese. Broil until cheese
melts and bubbles. Top sandvaches with sprouts and serve.
