Atholl Brose - Country Living Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Old-fashioned rolled oats,
1/4 cup: Honey,
3 cup: Boiling water,
1 pint: Scotch whisky,
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine rolled oats and boiling water. Stir with a
spoon breaking up oats as much as possible. Set aside 1/2 hour.
2. Strain oat mixture into a 1-quart pitcher, pressing to get 2 C
liquid. you do not get enough liquid, pour more boiling water through
oats in strainer until liquid measures 2 C. Discard oats; add honey
and whisky to the oat liquid; stir until well combined. Serve immedi-
ately; shake or stir before pouring into each mug.
