Asparagus With Curry Sauce - Sl 1/90 Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Mayonnaise or salad dressing,
2 each: 10-oz packages frozen,
2 tsp: To 3 tspn curry powder,
-asparagus spears, thawed
1 1/2 tsp: Lemon juice,
2 tbsp: Capers,
1 lbs: Fresh asparagus spears -OR-,
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients; cover and chill.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales with a knife or
vegetable peeler, if desired. Cook asparagus, covered, in a small
amount of boiling water 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
Arrange asparagus spears on a serving platter; top with curry
sauce, and sprinkle with capers. Yield: 4 servings.
