Spiced Apple Cider - Sl 11/85 Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 gallon: Apple cider,
2 cup: Orange juice,
1 cup: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Lemon juice,
2 tsp: Whole cloves,
1/2 cup: Apple brandy, optional
1 each: Whole nutmeg,
Cinnamon sticks,
Directions:
Combine apple cider and sugar in a Dutch oven. Tie cloves and
nutmeg in a cheesecloth bag; add to cider mixture. Bring to a boil;
reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Remove spice bag, and add
juices. Stir in brandy, if desired. Simmer until heated. Serve with
cinnamon-stick stirrers. Yield: 2-1/2 quarts.
