Peach Raisin Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup: Sugar, divided
1/2 cup: Butter or margarine, melted
2 cup: Peeled peach slices,
Frozen or canned,
-fresh,
1 cup: Raisins,
1 cup: All purpose flour,
1 tsp: Cinnamon,
1 1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
1/4 tsp: Nutmeg,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/4 tsp: Allspice,
1 cup: Milk,
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch square pan. IN large bowl,
combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Blend
in milk and butter. Pour batter into greased pan. Combine peaces,
raisins, remaining 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice; toss
to coat evenly. Spoon peach mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350
degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or at
room temperature if desired.
