Ingredients:

BARS:
1 package: Pillsbury Plus Devils Food,
-filling,
-cake mix,
1 t: Almond extract,
21 ounce: Can cherry fruit pie,
2: Eggs, beaten

FROSTING:
1 cup: Sugar,
6 ounce: Pkg semi-sweet chocolate,
1/3 cup: Milk,

5 T: Butter,

Directions:
flour 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan or 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine
all bar ingredients; stir until well blended. Spread in greased and
floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted in center
comes out clean. For 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan, bake 20 to 30 minutes; for
13 x 9 inch pan, bake 25 to 30 minutes. In small saucepan, combine
sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
Pour and spread over warm bars. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
