Chop Suey Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lbs: Ground beef,
3/4 cup: Chopped celery,
3 tbsp: Instant minced onion,
1 1/4 cup: Water,
1/2 cup: Uncooked converted rice,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 can: Condensed chicken with rice soup,
1 can: (4 oz) slice mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp: Packed brown sugar,
2 tbsp: Soy sauce,
1 tsp: Butter or margerine,
Directions:
Cook and stir ground beef, celery and onion in skillet until beef is brown;
drain. Stir in remaining ingredients.
OVEN METHOD: Pour into greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Cook uncovered in 350
degree oven 30 minutes; stir. Cook until rice is tender and liquid is
absorbed, about 30 minutes longer.
RANGE TOP METHOD: Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring
occasionally, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 30
minutes.
