Marinated Grilled Flank Steak Recipe

Ingredients:
3 lbs: Flank steak,
MARINADE
1 Clove: garlic,
1: Onion, peeled and minced
1 1/2 tbsp: Fresh ginger root, peeled and minced
1/4 cup: Soy sauce, plus
1 tbsp: Soy sauce,
1/4 cup: Honey, plus
1 tbsp: Honey,
3/4 tsp: Hot pepper sauce,
2 tbsp: Sesame oil,
1/4 cup: Peanut or canola oil,
Directions:
1. emulsify ingredients in blender or food processor. Put the beef and the
marinade in plastic bag(s), turning occaisionally, 8 - 24 hours. Remove the
meat from the marinade and pat it dry.
2. Grill the meat 4 minutes on each side for medium rare. Let the steak sit
for 5 minutes before sliceing intop 1/4 inch strips across the grain.
