Creamy Vegetable Soup C/p Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large: onion, chopped,
1/4 cup: butter,
3 medium: sweet potatoes, peeled, chopped,
3 medium: zucchini, chopped,
1 bunch: broccoli, chopped,
2 quart: chicken stock or,
2 quart: vegetable broth,
2 medium: red potatoes, shredded,
3 cloves: garlic, minced,
1 can: creamed corn or,
3/4 cup: fresh corn kernels,
1 teaspoon: celery seed,
1 teaspoon: ground cumin,
2 teaspoon: salt,
1 teaspoon: pepper,
2 cup: light cream,

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a 4 to 5 quart crockpot except cream. Cook on the
low setting 6 to 8 hours or until sweet potatoes are tender. Ten minutes
before serving, add the cream, if using. Heat through and serve. Formatted
by Lynn Thomas. Recipe from Tracy Handler. I made this on 10-8-96 and it
was good with or without the cream. Instead of the spices, I substituted 1
