Gourmet Onions Recipe

Ingredients:
5 Medium: onions,
1/2 tsp: Sugar,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Pepper,
1/3 cup: Butter,
1/2 cup: Sherry,
2 tbsp: Parmesan cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Peel and slice onions. 2. Melt butter in saucepan and add onions.
Season with sugar, salt and pepper. 3. Cook 5 to 8 minutes until
barely tender, stirring to separate rings. 4. Add sherry. Cook 3 more
minutes. 5. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with parmesan.
