Southern Chocolate Pie Recipe

Yield: 1 -9" pie

Ingredients:
-Sue Woodward,
1 package: 4-oz. Bakers German sweet chocolate,
1/4 cup: Butter, or margarine
1 can: 13-oz. evaporated milk,
1 cup: Sugar,
3: Eggs,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
1: 9" pie shell, unbaked, with high rim
1 1/3 cup: Bakers angel flake coconut,
1/2 cup: Pecans, chopped

Directions:
Stir chocolate and butter over low heat until melted
and smooth. Remove; blend in evaporated milk and
sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla; blend in chocolate.
Pour into pie shell; top with coconut and nuts. Bake
at 375~ for 45 to 50 mins., or until top is puffed.
(Filling will set while cooling). Cool for 4 hrs.
