Easy Oven-fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
2 T: Dry sherry,
2 centiliter: Garlic, minced or pressed
1 lbs: Chicken breasts, skinned & boned, and split
1/2 cup: Soft whole wh. bread crumbs,
2 T: Cornmeal,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 tsp: Paprika,
1/2 tsp: Pepper,
1/2 tsp: Sage leaves,
1/2 tsp: Thyme leaves,
1/2 tsp: Basil,
1 tsp: Salad oil,
Directions:
In a shallow bowl, combine sherry and garlic. Add chicken, turn to coat,
and let stand for about 20 minutes. In another shallow bowl, combine
bread crumbs, cornmeal, salt, paprika, pepper, sage, thyme and basil. Dip
each chicken piece in crumb mixture to coat. Brush a rimmed 10- by
15-inch baking pan with oil. Arrange chicken, skinned side up, in pan.
Bake, uncovered, in a 450 degree oven until meat is no longer pink in
thickest part; cut to test (about 20 minutes). Serve hot or let cool to
room temperature.
Per serving: 175 calories, 15% fat, 20% carbohydrates, 65% protein), 66 mg
cholesterol, 382 mg sodium.
