Beckham County Honey Rose Cheese Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Shortening,
1 tsp: Cinnamon,
1 1/4 cup: Sugar,
1/3 tsp: Salt,
1/4 cup: Honey,
1 cup: Buttermilk,
2: Eggs,
1 tsp: Vinegar,
1 tsp: Lemon Extract,
1 tsp: Baking Soda,
1 tsp: Orange Extract,
1 tsp: Red Food Coloring,
2 cup: Flour,

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
1 package: , (3 Oz) Cream Cheese
1 tsp: Warm Water,
1 1/2 cup: Powdered Sugar,
1 tsp: Vanilla,

Directions:
Cream together 1st six ingredients. Sift flour, cinnamon and salt
together. Add alternately with part of the buttermilk to creamed
mixture. Add vinegar and soda to the last part of the buttermilk and
mix well. Add red food coloring to complete mixture and into a 7 1/2
x 11 greased pan. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for about 30 mins, or
until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Soften cream cheese. Add
sugar, water, and vanilla. Beat until creamy and spread over cake.
