Blond Brownies #2 Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Plus 2 T flour,
-granulated sugar,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla extract,
1/2 tsp: Baking soda,

1/2 cup: Butter, softened
1/2 cup: Chopped pecans,
3/4 cup: Firmly packed dark brown,
1 cup: Semisweet chocolate chips,

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375oF. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together into
mixing bowl. In separate bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla
together until smooth; add egg and mix until smooth. Gradually add
flour mixture to creamed mixture; beat well after each addition. Stir
in pecans and chocolate chips.
Spread batter in greased, 8" square baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes,
or until golden brown. Cool in pan, then cut into squares.
