Potatoes In Sour Cream Recipe

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 lbs: Potatoes, (about 6 med.),
-temperature,
-peeled and sliced,
1 tbsp: Dill, fresh, chopped -
2 medium: Onions, peeled and chopped
, to 2 tablespoons
3 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup: Sour cream, at room

Parboil potatoes for 5 mins. Drain and slice. In a medium skillet,
saute onions in butter until tender. Add sliced potatoes, sour cream,
dill, salt and pepper and cook slowly, covered, until tender, about
20 mins. Serves 4 to 6.

NOTES : The Poles consume great quantities of potatoes, which are
prepared
in interesting dishes. This is a typical one.
