Wheat Pilaf Recipe
Yield: 4 ServingsRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
4 tbsp: Unsalted butter,
1 cup: Fresh mushrooms, (your choice as to type), sliced
1 small: Onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup: Pecans, chopped
1 tbsp: Fresh thyme leaves,
1/2 cup: Instant bulgar,
3 cup: Chicken or vegetable broth,
1/3 cup: Golden raisins,
Directions:
Heat 3 Tbl. of butter in skillet over high heat; saute mushrooms, onion,
pecans, and thyme until onion is translucent. Add dry bulgar and saute for
an additional 2 minutes. Stir in the broth, raisins, and remaining butter.
Cook for time recommended on bulgar package, or until broth is mostly
absorbed. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4. Liberally adapted
