Whipped Butter-vanilla Frosting Recipe

Ingredients:
1/4 cup: Butter,
1/2 cup: Milk,
1/4 cup: White shortening,
1/2 cup: Granulated sugar,
2 tsp: Flour,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,

In a small saucepan, add flour to milk and bring to a boil. Allow to cool.
In a medium sized bowl, blend butter and shortening for four minutes with
electric mixer. Add sugar and beat four more minutes. Add cooled flour and
milk mixture to butter mixture. Add vanilla. Beat until smooth.
Note: the frosting recipe needs to be doubled if frosting a 2-layered cake.
